Zoe Saldana and Karen Gillian play adopted sisters at opposite sides of a war in the new featurette for James Gunn‘s “Guardians of the Galaxy.”
Saldana stars as Gamora, a lethal warrior who now longs to redeem herself and get away from the villainous Thanos (Josh Brolin), who trained her as an assassin. She joins Peter Quill/Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper), Groot (Vin Diesel), and Drax the Destroyer (Dave Bautista) to form the Guardians of the Galaxy, a group of misfits-turned-heroes who try to stop Ronan the Accuser (Lee Pace) from taking over the galaxy. Nebula (played by Gillan), however, decides to maintain her allegiance to the dark side, pitting both siblings against each other.
Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” opens in theaters on August 1st. Until then, check out the latest featurette below to get a closer look at Gamora and Nebula.
